Vettro Elevates Relationship
with Oracle to Deliver Enterprise
Mobile
Applications to Joint Customers for Siebel
CRM On Demand
Also Achieves Validated
Integration for Vettro 360 Sales to
Siebel CRM On Demand Through
Oracle's Applications Integration Initiative
NEW YORK – June 11, 2007 – Vettro
(www.vettro.com), the global leader in
mobile on-demand business applications,
today announced it has elevated its Oracle® PartnerNetwork
membership status to Certified Partner
and has recently completed validation
of its integration of Vettro 360 Sales
to Oracle’s Siebel CRM On Demand.
Vettro 360 Sales for Siebel CRM On Demand
allows Oracle customers to leverage existing
software and hardware investments to
maximize the effectiveness of sales operations
and performance in the field. Vettro
is currently deploying its mobile solution
for Siebel CRM On Demand for Dot Hill
Systems.
Vettro 360 Sales for Siebel CRM On Demand
(www.vettro.com/sales/sod) provides mobile
users with the ability to access, create,
and manage critical business information
in real-time from standard wireless smartphones
or PDAs. All data captured in the field
is updated dynamically in Siebel CRM
On Demand, removing communication delays
and ensuring the most updated sales and
customer information is being shared
throughout the enterprise. The application
is built on the Vettro 360 core architecture,
which allows all related information,
such as customer history, accounts receivable,
support and knowledgebase, to be seamlessly
linked for the mobile user, ultimately
providing a full view of the prospect
or customer. As a true on demand mobile
service, Vettro 360 requires no additional
infrastructure investments and is installed
over the wireless network in a matter
of minutes, translating to an enterprise
deployment within weeks.
The Vettro 360 suite of applications
complements the Oracle product portfolio
via pre-built, standard integration adapters
and facilitates an end-to-end Service
Oriented Architecture across applications
used by mobile and desktop users. By
serving the mobile computing needs across
the entire enterprise via a single open
mobile architecture, Vettro 360 allows
enterprises to share field operations
visibility, deploy multiple mobile applications
easily, and support critical decision-making
processes with always up-to-date information.
The Vettro 360 suite of applications
also boasts plug-and-play with advanced
mobile capabilities such as GPS, Bluetooth™ peripherals,
RFID, point-of-service transactions,
and printing to optimize performance
of the mobile enterprise.
“Vettro supports our preference
for standards-based technology approach,
which paves the way for opportunities
with our entire Oracle product portfolio,” said
Tom Herrmann, vice president, Global
ISV Strategy & Programs at Oracle. “Vettro
has a record of serving the mobile application
needs for Oracle customers and this validation
reaffirms its commitment to help enterprises
unleash the full value of Oracle products
for the growing population of mobile
workers.”
Dot Hill Systems will deploy Vettro
360 Sales for Siebel CRM On Demand to
increase usage of SFA/CRM information,
increase accuracy of sales and customer
details, and provide sales reps with
up-to-date information on critical sales
updates.
“Oracle has a strong, proven track
record of setting the pace of enterprise
computing advances, and we see numerous
opportunities to serve our joint customers,
as all of Vettro’s enterprise customers
are currently running one or more Oracle
products,” said Joe Rymsza, president
and CEO, Vettro. “We are extremely
pleased to work with technology leaders
who recognize the increasing role mobile
computing is playing in fully optimizing
enterprise operations, and we look forward
delivering unique first-class business
solutions together.”
The Oracle PartnerNetwork Application
Integration Initiative gives customers
confidence that integrations between
Oracle Applications and complementary
ISV solutions have been validated and
the products work together as designed.
This can reduce risk, improve system
implementation cycles, and provide for
smoother upgrades and simpler maintenance.
Validation through this initiative is
available to qualifying partners in the
Oracle PartnerNetwork, and applies a
rigorous technical process to review
the integrations of third-party software
to Oracle Applications products. Oracle
(NASDAQ: ORCL) provides tools, resources
and training to assist partners in the
integration. Partners who have successfully
validated their integrations are authorized
to use the “Integrated with Oracle” logo.
