Vettro is the preferred mobile application provider of Global 2000 enterprises. The company's award winning Vettro 360 suite of applications enables field service, IT service management / helpdesk, pickup and delivery, and field sales workers to stay productive at close to 300 leading enterprises including Bell Mobility, General Electric, Honeywell, and SuperShuttle. We are looking for a contract Hiring Manager in the New York City region to help us grow our stellar engineering and services teams responsible for our flagship Vettro 360 platform—the industry's first multi-application mobile architecture designed to combine the benefits of a standards-based mobile platform with rapidly deployable packaged applications.

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility for this role is the successful recruitment and hiring of technology professionals for Vettro’s New York City-based Engineering and Professional Services teams.  The applicant will cultivate a group of qualified candidates for each position on Vettro’s staffing plan and work with Engineering and Services to organize interviews.  The applicant will also facilitate the hiring and successful on-boarding of selected candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with professional recruiters and through other channels to cultivate a group of candidates for Vettro's open job requisitions.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Vettro's technology, platforms and products; apply this understanding to the candidate screening process.
  • Work with the Engineering and Professional Services management to organize and facilitate the interview process for each qualified candidate.
  • Facilitate the successful hiring, from offer to acceptance, of the selected candidates.
  • Work with Finance, HR and IT/Operations to facilitate the on-boarding of hired candidates.
  • Implement standards and best practices to organize and improve Vettro's recruiting and hiring processes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of technology recruiting experience.
  • Experience working through various channels, including contracted recruiters, to find the best candidates
  • Successful track record of building teams in small to mid-size company environments.
  • Experience building mature processes around recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding of candidates.
  • trong organizational and managerial skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
