Position Overview:
Reporting into the Director of Business Development, the Channel Development
Director will develop and manage a national network of reseller partners
for Vettro's 360 mobility solutions. The goal of this position is to
develop a channel program that will consistently generate sales leads
and revenues for Vettro and our channel partners.
Vettro V360 Mobility solutions were developed to support specific critical
business processes for the mobile worker, and offer Channel partners
a unique opportunity to offer mobile application solutions into their
customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the Vettro N. American channel strategy and
execute to meet sales goals. Work closely with Vettro field sales organization
to drive local alignment.
- Recruit new channel partners into Vettro channel program.
Negotiate channel agreements to meet the agreed upon relationship
between Vettro and each channel partner.
- Develop and maintain a Business Plan for all key channel
partners using the plan as a roadmap for Go to Market and co-development
initiatives
- Drive joint opportunity development activities through
account mapping, marketing activities, coordinating MDF, and utilizing
marketing programs as resources
- Work with Vettro technical team to train partners on
Vettro products, solution sets, business processes, etc, leading to
enhanced self-sufficiency in sales and winning mindshare and cycles
from the partner's sales teams.
- Exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets
while continuously creating and cultivating opportunities for joint
revenue generation and customer acquisition.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years IT sales and/or channel development experience
- Excellent executive presence and communication skills
- Direct experience in developing and managing enterprise
level alliance and/or channel programs
- Proven track record in exceeding sales goals
- Ability to develop and negotiate contracts and business
plans for partners
- Ability to establish and accomplish goals with limited
direct supervision
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to multi-task in a dynamic
environment
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to talk about technical subjects and deliver presentations
to a wide array of audiences with both technical and non-technical
backgrounds.
